Matt Asay is a principal at AWS, managing the company’s Open Source Strategy and Marketing (OSSM) and Developer Marketing teams. Prior to AWS, Matt ran Adobe’s developer relations team, and also held a number of executive roles at open source startups, most recently running Community and Marketing at MongoDB. Matt is an emeritus board member of the Open Source Initiative (OSI) and holds a JD from Stanford, where he focused on open source and other IP licensing issues. He writes regular columns for the TechRepublic and InfoWorld.
